El emprendimiento constituye un campo multidisciplinario de creciente relevancia en las ciencias económicas, administrativas y sociales, cuyo estudio articula aportes de la economía, psicología, sociología, antropología y administración. El libro presenta una revisión sistemática y crítica de las principales perspectivas teóricas vinculadas con la formación del pensamiento emprendedor, mediante el análisis de escuelas económicas, psicológicas, sociológicas y administrativas, junto con contribuciones de autores clásicos y contemporáneos. La investigación adopta un enfoque analítico y documental sustentado en literatura científica, libros especializados y artículos publicados en revistas académicas de alto impacto. Las teorías son examinadas mediante sus fundamentos conceptuales, trayectoria histórica, aportes, limitaciones y aplicaciones empresariales, estableciendo relaciones entre distintas corrientes para construir una interpretación interdisciplinaria. Los resultados evidencian que el comportamiento emprendedor responde a la interacción de factores individuales, económicos, sociales, culturales, institucionales y organizacionales. A partir de dicha convergencia, la obra propone un marco integrador que concibe el emprendimiento como un proceso dinámico asociado con creación de valor, innovación y desarrollo económico y social. Su contenido aporta fundamentos teóricos para estudiantes, docentes, investigadores, emprendedores y profesionales interesados en analizar el fenómeno emprendedor desde una perspectiva académica, crítica y multidisciplinaria, y fortalece la comprensión de sus implicaciones para actividad empresarial contemporánea.
